Our group was tasked with the development of a culturally-inspired product that could be produced and distributed to the mass market. The process included the discovery of three dishes from unique cultures and designing a single unique product that utilized poultry as the primary ingredient. The product was to be formulated in such a way to achieve a final product that would appeal to the target consumer. The development stage of the task required the group to produce a desired final product, consisting of the packaging and perfected formula for maximum quality. The final portion of the project required designing a marketing strategy. The group had to calculate costs and determine the target market for the product. The logistics of production, shipping, and selling had to be determined. Working as a group, we had to discover, develop, and market an unique product.
